BRNT can undertake full compliance testing for Building Regs Part L, Part E and Part F. When these building regs need signing off either a sound insulation test, air leakage test or ventilation test is required. Below are some examples of projects we have been involved with.
Air pressure test
Worcestershire
This self-build home in Worcestershire required an air test to feed into their SAP calculations in order to meet the requirements of Building Regs Part L. We provided our checklist so the owners could ensure their builders were ready. We then visited site to complete the air testing, which they achieved 5.55 Q50 against a target of 6.00 Q50 (a pass is achieving a figure equal or below the target figure).

We completed an air test on this amazing 200m2 single storey ‘Grand Designs’ build in Herefordshire. The property has a unique, barn style design. The air leakage test undertaken on behalf of the builders whom we have worked with for a number of years.
